Buddhiprakash — Now a monthly publication, Buddhiprakash started in 1850 as a fortnightly publication.
Chitralekha — Weekly news magazine founded in the year 1950.
Dalitchetna — Monthly magazine by Manoj Parmar that started in 2006.
Dhabak — Quarterly ghazal poetry journal started by Rashid Meer in 1991.
Doot — Doot (or Paavan Hriday Doot) is a Gujarati Catholic monthly that was started in the year 1911 by Jaswant Macwan. It's published from Anand, Gujarat.
Gazalvishwa — Gazalvishwa is a quarterly literary journal that publishes ghazals, ghazal reviews, critical works & interviews of ghazal poets and writers. Gazalvishwa was started in 2006 by Rajesh Vyas 'Miskin'.
Kavilok — Bimonthly poetry journal published from Ahmedabad.
Kumar — Gujarati literary magazine founded by artist and author Ravishankar Raval in 1924.
Parivesh — Quarterly literary magazine started by Rajesh Vankar in December 2012.
Safari — Monthly science and general knowledge magazine published by Harshal Publications, Ahmedabad.
Shabdasrishti — Gujarati literary magazine published by Gujarat Sahitya Akademi since 1983.
Defunct Gujarati language magazines
Chetana — Chetana was started as a monthly publication of the Praja Socialist Party in the year 1954 by Vasant Dalal.
Gujarati (1880–1929) — Ichcharam Desai started publication of Gujarati on weekly basis on 6 June 1880 on political, social and literary subjects. Gujarati was also instrumental in spreading the views of the then Indian National Congress (Congress) party.
Jnanasudha — Edited by Ramanbhai Neelkanth, Jnanasudha (also known as Gnansudha or Gyansudha) was a Gujarati magazine that was published between 1892 - 1919.
Kaumudi (1924–1937) — Gujarati literary critic Vijayrai Vaidya started the quarterly publication of Kaumudi in October 1924 on the occasion of Vijayadashami (Dussehra). The monthly publication of Kaumudi started in the year 1930, but, it was disestablished in the year 1937.
Priyamvada (1885–1890) — Manilal Nabhubhai Dwivedi started Priyamvada in August 1885 with the aim of educating women and later merged into Sudarshan in the year 1890.
Ruchi (1963-1968) — Literary magazine for the creative thought that was started by Chunilal Madia in the year 1963 after his return from the United States.
Satyaprakash (1852 - 1861) — Weekly magazine started by social reformer and journalist Karsandas Mulji that merged with Rast Goftar newspaper in 1861.
Stribodh (1857 - 1952) — One of the earliest magazines in India aimed at the country's women audience. It was started by K N Kabra and worked for the improvement of female education and the overall quality of life for women.
Sudarshan (1890 - 1904) — Gujarati magazine founded by Manilal Nabhubhai Dwivedi.
Vasant (1902 - 1939) — Vasant was a Gujarati language literary magazine that was started by Anandshankar Dhruv in the year 1902 and which played a key role in the development of Gujarati prose writing.
Vismi Sadi (1916 - 1920) — Haji Mohammed Allarakha Shivji, also known by his pen name Salim, started the Visami Sadi periodical in 1916 and translated several works in Urdu.
